The Alex O'Brien Tennis Foundation and Kids, Incorporated are excited to provide tennis at an affordable cost to the
children and families of the Texas Panhandle! The registration fee for Learn to Play Tennis is $50. This includes
four program dates, a shirt, a new tennis racket and an end-of-year medal.
All equipment is provided at each training session. Learn to Play Tennis focuses on teaching the basics of the sport to children. Beginners are taught proper racquet techniques, serve and volley instruction, scoring and court etiquette. The Alex O'Brien Tennis Foundation's goal is to demonstrate that tennis is not a country club sport but something everyone can learn to play and enjoy. Learn to Play sessions are held at the Amarillo National Tennis Center.
